regret

I didn't fly to NY to see "69 Love Songs" performed in its entirety. Almost did, but it was sold out by the time I heard about it, and the scalpers' prices were outrageous. I'm still sorry I didn't just deal with the money and go.

Love love love this band.

hi. new to this tribe and had to speak up. thanks to liz for starting it!!

69 love songs were performed right here in SF. two nights at GAMH. summer of 2000, i think. i am so lucky to have made it; tickets sold out in minutes.

here's a quick synopsis: the opening was daniel handler reading from his book. he later made an appearance playing the accordion in the upper balcony, the only time i've seen the upper balcony used in 10 years of shows at GAMH. claudia suggested that those of us on the floor sit so everyone could see, and it *seemed* like a great idea until everyone doubled or tripled the amount of floor space we took up by sitting. very close quarters to say the least. so about halfway through night one we were asked to stand again, and it wasn't brought up as an option on night two.

love love love, yes! i think 69 love songs is one of the top ten projects of all time.

so my big regret remains not seeing the bauhaus reunion tour at the warfield. WHAT was i thinking?

Giving credit where credit is due: I didn't start the tribe - just posted early and often ;-)

Doubly heartbroken to have missed them in SF. I want the new album *nowwwwwwwww*
