  yes.. could & will be interesting, as we all know 99% of "tribute" albums bite ass.
  
  <b>WE ARE STILL ACCEPTING SUBMISSIONS</b>, likely until the spring if not later (all depends on what we get!).
  
  no genre-catering on this "dedication" to the Magnetic's, we're looking to expand and/or break the age-old mold of the cover song(s).

    I haven't heard too many tribute albums but the ones I have heard I've always found interesting.
    
    In particular
    
    I am a rock. I am dull grass. Will Oldham tribute on Tract
    
    Nothing Left to Lose. A tribute to Kris Kristopherson on Incidental.
    
    Joe South tribute. Jackpine Social Club Records.

      The John Hammond tribute album to Tom Waits is pretty sweet. I also like the Richard Thompson tribute album with that killer REM cover of Wall of Death. There's an REM tribute one though that's just awful.
