did anyone else catch the NPR interview with Lemony Snickets (a.k.a Daniel Handler)? I did not realize he was the accordianist on 69 Love Songs. I am now sold on reading the books. Not so sure about shelling out $9.50 for the movie though.

He seems to be cohabitating with Michael Chabon at the moment, they've been doing lots of talks together. -

Sat, March 5, 2005 - 6:34 PMDid you know that Stephin Merritt did a couple of songs for the Lemony Snickett audio-books? One called "Scream and Run Away" as the Gothic Archies, and I think a couple of others. I've only heard two of them, but they're totally great! -
